HR Business Partner

Forge HR Group is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team. You will work directly with owners and leadership teams at small businesses across the country, acting as their HR department rather than a distant adviser.

This is hands-on, varied work. One day you are rewriting a handbook, the next you are coaching a manager through a difficult conversation or untangling a wage-and-hour question.

• # What you will do
• Own a portfolio of client relationships as their primary HR contact
• Advise on compliance, employee relations, and workplace investigations
• Build handbooks, policies, and onboarding programs that actually get used
• Coach managers and owners through performance and people decisions
• Support recruiting and onboarding as clients grow

• # What we are looking for
• 5+ years in an HR generalist, HRBP, or HR manager role
• Strong working knowledge of federal and multi-state employment law
• Comfortable advising business owners directly and being the one with the answer
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a plus, not a requirement
• Experience supporting small businesses or multiple clients at once is a real advantage
